Our passionate team of experienced instructors is dedicated to sharing their extensive knowledge of dance, performance, and artistry with each student. We are committed to continuous professional development, ensuring our staff stays current with the latest techniques, teaching methods, and choreography so that every class is engaging, innovative, and inspiring.

At Power House Dance Academy, we believe every dancer's journey is unique. By recognizing individual learning styles and encouraging personal growth, we help students build strong technical foundations, develop confidence, and discover a lifelong love for dance. Whether your child is taking their very first class or training at a competitive level, our goal is to help them reach their fullest potential—both inside and outside the studio.

Our state-of-the-art studio features professional Marley dance flooring to provide a safe and supportive training environment. We proudly welcome students ages 2 and up, offering classes for Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced dancers. Our studio also includes free onsite parking and accepts all major credit cards for your convenience.

Studio Policies

To provide a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment for all dancers, we ask that every family review and follow the policies below.

Studio Uniform: Power House Dance Academy is a uniformed dance studio. All dancers are required to attend class in the appropriate studio attire and dance shoes. Students who are not dressed according to the dress code may be asked to observe class rather than participate.
Attendance: Consistent attendance is essential for a dancer's growth and progress. If your child will be absent, please notify the studio prior to their scheduled class time.
Missed Classes: Make-up classes are not available for personal absences.
Studio Closures: Power House Dance Academy generally follows the local public school calendar for holidays and scheduled closures.
Inclement Weather: In the event of severe weather, please call the studio at 718-673-6558 or check our social media pages for updates regarding class cancellations.
Dance Room Etiquette: To help keep our studios clean and safe, outside shoes are not permitted in any dance room.
Cell Phones: Cell phones should remain put away during class unless otherwise permitted by an instructor.
Parent Observation: During the first week of each month, parents of our Nursery classes are invited into the studio for the final five minutes of class to celebrate their dancer's progress and see what they have been learning.
